Match Report

Hot evening – decent crowd …

Manager Steve King: “A good workout on a good surface.  Getting more minutes into the players, which is the purpose of the exercise really.”

A couple more new trialing players to watch: Antony Charles and Albert Jarrett – both players have Football League experience and Albert has played in the Premier. (good job wikipedia is free!)

First goal scored by Danny Mills is adjusted at half time ……… into an own goal.

Second goal is thumped in by Pa Saikou Kujabi, inbetween times the posts and crossbar took a few hits.

Whitehawk would be expected to dominate, and did so, in what was an entertaining game.

team sheet

A few ex-Hawks playing tonight: nice to see Paul Hinshelwood (oddly known as ‘Fish’ to the other players), also good to see Alex Parsons and technically an ex-Hawk – Charlie Oatway Jnr .. if only for 1/2 a game against Hayes & Yeading (at Woking’s ground) last season.

  1. Gary Palmer says:

Anthony Charles is a good CB I watched him a few times for Plymouth Argyle a few years ago
